Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026 · California CCPA/CPRA compliant
Volo Auto Group ("Volo," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have — including specific rights for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details — name, email, and (optionally) phone number when you submit a contact, financing pre-inquiry, order, or privacy request form.
- Vehicle configurations — model, color, interior, wheel, and package selections, and your configuration reference ID.
- Preferences — budget range and purchase timeframe in financing pre-inquiries.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, approximate device and browser type, collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Cookie preferences — your consent choices, stored on your device.
What we never collect on this website
- Social Security numbers
- Online banking passwords or full bank account credentials
- Full payment card numbers
- Credit report credentials
Any financing information of that nature, if ever required, is collected only through secure offline channels with our lending partners — never through this website.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and route them to the appropriate internal team
- To prepare and administer vehicle orders you request
- To follow up on financing pre-inquiries
- To organize Volo Experience events you join
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud
- To analyze site usage — only with your analytics consent
3. How we store and protect it
Every form submission is stored first in our secured PostgreSQL database — our system of record — with a unique reference ID, then routed to the appropriate internal team by automated notification. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security, parameterized queries, rate limiting, and access controls. Internal contact addresses are never published on this website. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to: service providers who operate our infrastructure under contract; lending partners when you ask us to pursue financing; and authorities when legally required.
5. Your California rights (CCPA/CPRA)
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share your information, so there is nothing to opt out of; this right is nonetheless yours.
- Right to limit sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information on this website.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Exercise these rights through our Privacy Request form. Requests move through tracked statuses — Received, Verification Required, Verified, Processing, and Completed (or Denied/Cancelled, with reasons) — and we respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification.
6. Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser sends GPC, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of any non-essential data collection and set your cookie preferences to strictly necessary only.
7. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for categories and choices. You can change your preferences anytime via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged prominently.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use our Privacy Request form or the contact form. We do not publish email addresses on this site; all inquiries are routed securely to the appropriate internal team.
